One more issue has now surfaced and someone put this on their post on Ihub. Its the mining contracts that are issued by the Philippine government. The 6 year contract that is imposed. The 60/40 arrangement if they don't receive 50 million dollars at the end of the contract.
What is that about $50,000,000 at the end of 6 years?
I do believe that what you are referring to perhaps, are for those mining companies who are just coming in to explore our country this year.. as it had proven the "Philippines is #2 in Gold Reserves"..second to Africa..
Pearl Asian has been grand-fathered as far as I know..if this new rumors are spreading out...(The shareholders should not worry..as worrying will get you sick).
These are the facts: ( As Pearl Asian is already 3 years ahead of this new ruling if this is the case)
1. Pearl Asian has already made all the necessary applications, fulfilled all the requirements since 2004 and are on file.
2. Pearl Asian is just awaiting for the final approval of its big mining scale permit (MPSA) on over 1,800 hectares of mine sites..
3. Pearl Asian has a permit SSMP issued since 2005 for the small scale operations on the 20 hectares of the XYZ Gold Mine site..
4. Pearl Asian is completing its second SSMP in Mindanao Gold Operations.
Can you or someone put all this stuff to rest? Its a challenge to go to the boards everyday.
